X104

4K@60Hz Multi-Screen Extender

The X104-4K@60Hz Quad-Screen Extender is a high-end video signal processing device recently launched by ViewSonic.

The standalone unit can simultaneously output a single DP1.2 or HDMI2.0 signal to up to four display devices, supporting horizontal input resolutions of up to 7680x1200 at 60Hz. Additionally, the device supports flexible signal distribution—outputting horizontally, vertically, or in an MxN configuration—to deliver versatile and dynamic visual displays. By connecting multiple units in parallel, the system can be easily scaled up to accommodate even larger display setups, making it ideal for use in multi-channel projection systems.

Panel Introduction

High-resolution signal display

Equipped with HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 digital signal interfaces, the device supports up to a maximum output resolution of 7680×1200 at 60Hz across four monitors.

Compatible with more devices

Supports HDMI-compatible input sources such as laptops, computers, monitors, and gaming consoles, as well as HDMI-compatible display devices like video wall TVs and monitors.

Multiple units cascaded, stitching together even more.

Supports device cascading, enabling the connection of more display devices for seamless large-scale video wall configurations.

Multiple stitching patterns

Supports free combination of 1×N, N×1, and M×N aspect ratios for seamless, distortion-free ultra-high-definition edge-to-edge splicing—no stretching or deformation.

Supports automatic screen rotation

After rotating the graphics card settings, the device automatically enables vertical-screen stitching, ensuring the image remains distortion-free and maintains its original proportions.

EDID Customization

By leveraging the device's EDID function, it can automatically identify the display device's basic parameters and attributes. Combined with chip-based decoding, this solution supports a wide range of resolution requirements, significantly enhancing the device's flexibility.

Pure hardware FPGA architecture

By using a pure hardware FPGA architecture, the system avoids crashes, hardware conflicts, and virus-related issues.
